In this tutorial talk, introduced is the famous platform of superconducting circuit QED, which is used widely in the practical quantum computer developments. It consists of superconducting "cavity" (or "resonator") strongly coupled to superconducting qubits. The latter can be various types of superconducting qubits, and most popular is the transmon qubit. The elementary model Hamiltonian is derived and exotic quantum states resulting from the ultra strong coupling are reviewed.
