We seek physical principles and methods for coherent manipulation of quantum states.
More specifically, we work on 
* Quantum Computation and Quantum Simulation,
* Quantum Machine Learning,
* Quantum Information Theory,
* Superconductivity and Superconducting Quantum Circuits,
* Quantum Information Processing with Spins,
* Quantum Charge and Spin Transport, etc.

양자상태를 결맞게 제어할 수 있는 물리적 원리 및 방법론을 찾아 양자컴퓨팅 및 양자시뮬레이션, 양자AI 등에 적용하고, 초전도 양자컴퓨터나 스핀 양자컴퓨터 등과 같은 하드웨어 개발을 위한 양자이론을 연구한다.
