양자상태를 결맞게 제어할 수 있는 물리적 원리 및 방법론을 찾아 양자컴퓨팅 및 양자시뮬레이션, 양자AI 등에 적용하고, 초전도 양자컴퓨터나 스핀 양자컴퓨터 등과 같은 하드웨어 개발을 위한 양자이론을 연구한다.
