Yinan Fang obtained his Ph.D. from the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2017. After worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Beijing Computational Science Research Center as well as the McGill University, he joined the Yunnan University in 2021 and became an associated professor since 2023.

His researches focus on the quantum optical effects in the condensed matter systems, with an emphasis on the interplay of collective quantum coherence and the environmental dissipation.
