During his PhD, he studied experimentally the low-temperature quantum transport on nanoscale devices and high-Tc superconductors. After his PhD, he did his postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) at Gaithersburg, USA from 1995 to 1997. Since 1997, he has been working as a Senior Researcher at the KRISS.
