Kim, Ho-Joon

Ho-Joon Kim is a Research Professor at the Research Center for Dielectric and Advanced Matter Physics in Pusan National University.

He finished his B.Sc. in Physics at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in 2003, and acquired his PhD in Physics from the same institute in 2010. His PhD thesis title was "Quantum Manipulation of Cavity Fields using Atomic Coherence and Entanglement", supervised by Prof. Hai-Woong Lee. After his PhD, he did his postdoctoral fellowship for two years (2010-2012) with Hyunchul Nha at Texas A&M University at Qatar. He then worked at KIAS as a Research Fellow for 4 years (2012-2016). Since 2016, he is now working at Pusan National University as a research professor.
