	Christoph Bruder studied physics at TU München and the University of Sussex. After receiving his diploma in München in 1985 (diploma thesis on superfluid 3He with D. Vollhardt and P. Wölfle), he joined T. M. Rice's group at ETH Zürich. He finished his PhD thesis on Andreev scattering in unconventional superconductors in 1989. He spent two years as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia working with T. C. Lubensky, G. Mele, and A. Brooks Harris. In 1991 he joined Gerd Schön's group at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, where he obtained his Habilitation (on mesoscopic superconductivity) in 1995. In 1998, he became Associate Professor at University of Basel, and in 2004, he was promoted to Full Professor. In 1997, he received the Klaus Tschira Award for Achievements in Public Understanding of Science; in 2001, the 200 kUSD Swiss-Korean Outstanding Research Efforts Award (together with Prof. Mahn-Soo Choi at Korea University), and in 2009, the Outstanding Referee Award of the American Physical Society. He served as a Divisional Associate Editor of Physical Review Letters from 2001 - 2007 and as a Co-Editor and Advisory Board of Europhysics Letters from 2004 - 2010. 	Stefano Chesi is currently an Associate Professor at the Beijing Computational Science Research Center (CSRC) in China. He received his Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Theory from Purdue University (2007) and held postdoctoral positions at the University of Basel (Switzerland) and McGill University (Canada). In 2013 he became a Research Scientist at RIKEN (Japan) and in 2014 joined CSRC, after being selected for the national "Young Thousand Talents" program. His research focuses on the theoretical description of quantum systems, with strong interests in spin coherence, solid-state quantum devices, and dissipative phase transitions. 	Kyunghyun Baek studied physics at Sogang University, where he received his B.S. in 2012 and his Ph.D. in 2018 with a thesis on entropic uncertainty relations, unsharpness, and non-Gaussianity. He then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Texas A&M University at Qatar and the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics, and later joined the Korea Institute for Advanced Study as a Research Fellow. From 2022 to 2024, he was a Senior Researcher at the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute. In 2024, he became Assistant Professor at Yonsei University, Institute for Convergence Research and Education in Advanced Technology, and Head of the Center for Quantum Computing Technology Support in Incheon. His research focuses on quantum information theory, quantum measurement, quantum resource theories, and near-term quantum algorithms, including variational quantum algorithms, quantum simulation, and quantum computing applications.		Kyunghyun Baek studied physics at Sogang University, where he received his B.S. in 2012 and his Ph.D. in 2018 with a thesis on entropic uncertainty relations, unsharpness, and non-Gaussianity. He then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Texas A&M University at Qatar and the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics, and later joined the Korea Institute for Advanced Study as a Research Fellow. From 2022 to 2024, he was a Senior Researcher at the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute. In 2024, he became Assistant Professor at Yonsei University, Institute for Convergence Research and Education in Advanced Technology, and Head of the Center for Quantum Computing Technology Support in Incheon. His research focuses on quantum information theory, quantum measurement, quantum resource theories, and near-term quantum algorithms, including variational quantum algorithms, quantum simulation, and quantum computing applications.

	~~[[Category:Speakers]]~~		Myung-Joong Hwang is an Associate Professor of Physics at Duke Kunshan University in China and an Associate Professor of Practice at Duke University in U.S. His research focuses on uncovering novel quantum phenomena and designing controlled quantum systems based on superconducting circuits and AMO systems such as ion-traps and cold atoms with optical cavities and harnessing them for quantum computing and quantum sensing. He has a Ph.D in physics from Pohang University of Science and Technology, South Korea. Before joining Duke Kunshan, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Theoretical Physics at Ulm University, Germany.
