Trotter product formula는 양자 동역학을 모사하는 데 널리 사용되는 방법 중 하나이다. 이 근사의 오차를 분석하는 과정에서는 비가환 연산자들의 급수 전개 등 복잡하고 번거로운 계산이 수반된다. 본 발표에서는 Trotter 근사의 오차를 줄이기 위한 multi-product formula에 관한 연구에서, Mathematica의 Q3 패키지를 활용하여 아이디어를 도출하고 계산을 보조한 사례를 소개한다.

The Trotter product formula is one of the widely used methods for simulating quantum dynamics. Analyzing the error of this approximation typically involves cumbersome calculations, such as series expansions of non-commuting operators. In this talk, we present a case study in which the Q3 package of Mathematica was used to develop ideas and assist calculations in the study of multi-product formulas for reducing Trotter errors.
